This was more of a family favor that just....happened.
Kate's been gone about an hour now, but Edward is still at the piano.

Almost as if weighing it, oddly, "I didn't mean to worry you. The other times." When she'd screamed in his head. And when he hadn't said anything or moved at all. The last two words stick in his throat. In the wish she hadn't had to see it.
