Garage OOM

Edward was watching Rosalie from the corner of the room, tucked into a booth with a book as he was.

She'd only just walked through the door and it seemed she was utterly alone this time.

The reasons why remained unspoken. For once, Rosalie was content to keep it that way.

"Okay. She'll be next."

He's grateful for that.

"I'm sure Carlisle will appreciate it."

Or that he'd scowl about never being allowed to touch his own car, about how his children always made the decisions for that.

"You know he won't," Rosalie replied with a faint, teasing smile. "He hasn't really gotten a chance to work on his cars since he introduced me to mechanics."

Edward chuckled lightly.

"He won't admit It's never been his forte either."

"I won't fault him for his pride," she responded, the faint grin still in place. "He deserves it."

Edward grinned, shaking his head, as he leaned back in his seat. Before suddenly glancing up again with a fevered light in his gold eyes. "We should go find that garage that is supposed to be here."
